El-p is a rapper and producer from Brooklyn, NY. He was in a group called Company Flow, founded a label Def Jux, put out multiple albums and produced for a lot of cool people. He is currently at work on his 3rd official solo album tentatively titled "cancer for cure" due out on Fat Possum records in 2012.
